Extended Blind Contour Project

I love sea animals and I hadn't done a project yet that involved sea animals. What I drew that was supposed to be my hands I Immediately thought that it looked like jellyfish and then I knew that this piece was gonna be made of sea animals.

Like most of my other artwork I sketched it out but with this one I sketched it out with a thin sharpie pen. Then I sketched out some more details with a pencil and then painted over it.

So this project started off as one drawing a self portrait without looking at the paper. Then drawing a friends portrait and then drawing our position of our hand. twice. After that I saw that this was messy but the hands that I drew looked like jellyfish and my portrait that I did looked like a seal sitting on a ball. So I sketched it out more with pencil and then started to paint over it.
