Assemblage

Artist Statement- The Main idea that guided my artwork was something from the ocean. Nothing to complex that it would take me forever because I've been stressed about grades closing. The specific materials I used were to create my sketch I used just a normal pencil and printer paper. Then for my real sculpture I used newspaper, tape, 12 gage wire, hot glue and cotton balls. The process that I went through with the start was creating my life size sketch which I started off with a cardinal in memory of my Grandmother. I realized that I didn't like how the bird was coming out so I decided to start a starfish. That is how I ended up with my finished product.
