Realistic Self-Portrait

For both of these pieces of art we were working with shading using black and white to bring out shadows. The graphite strip was a guide of color for me to help figure out how to transfer it onto my self portrait.

The materials I used to create both of these were just graphite on drawing paper and pastel paper.

the process that I went through with the strip was just some simple shading I also used a tool from class to help me guide how my colors should look. With my self portrait I used a photo of me to copy as a reference to complete my self portrait.
