Linoleum Prints

Artist Statement- The main Idea that guided my artwork was almost trying to portray the jungle and calmness of vines. The specific materials that I used to create this were a linoleum block, carving tools, a sharpie and ink. The process I went through to create this piece of art was I started off with the idea of creating the design of the American flag. Then I revised and decided I wanted to create vines and sketched that on the block with sharpie, carved it out and then stamped SO many pieces of paper till I created the perfect 4 stamps.
