Surrealist Collage

Artist Statement- For this piece of art I really hadn't done anything that relates to music this year. I took this chance and used old school music as my theme. First I used a bunch of cut outs I took from magazines and glued them the way I wanted on print making paper. Then on canvas using acrylic I tried to portray the same image as on my collage. After I finished my collage and started painting I realized I needed to change some things on my collage because they would be challenging to paint. So I revised my collage and you can see that in my painting.
