Artist Statement- This assignment we were asked to create something inspired by all the artists we have looked at through our art history unit. I have always wanted to draw my boyfriends truck and this assignment gave me the freedom I needed to do so. The materials that I used were Bristol board paper and acrylic for the color. But I also used a light box to trace his truck because I knew that would be the best way it could come out. This work of art definitely took a lot of practice I actually traced it on a different piece of paper before hand and tried out different colors to make it look like the color of his truck. I also had to do a lot of digging to find the perfect picture that I could use for reference.
