In my work you can see that it is mountains and trees. I used cardboard to make the mountains and pieces from a tree to make little trees that look like they're on the mountains. The mountains remind me of summer when it was warm out. One of my first ideas was to cut out the Vans logo from a shoe box but it didn't look quite right and I like the mountains better because they look more natural then just cuting out a logo from a box.

I chose mountains and trees because in the summer I go hiking, and I thought that this design looked pretty cool. I used regular acrylic paint for a few of the prints, I used crayon for one of the prints, and tinfoil and a sharpie for another one.

First I started by cutting out all of my pieces and then I glued the cardboard mountain pieces onto another iece of cardboard, and the tree pieces I glued on top of the mountain pieces. When it was all dried I put glue over the tree pieces to help the leaves stay down more, and then after that was all dry I used a vanish to seal it. My work evolved a lot because I had many ideas that I wanted to do but once I tried them out they didn't look super good so then I came up with mountains. My next steps could be to make the mountains stand out more because in the prints you can see them but not very good.
