For my teapot project I decided to make an ice cream teapot so I tried t make it took like it was in a milkshake cup, with mint chip ice cream on the top, a spoon handle, and an ice cream cone spout. I made and ice cream teapot because ice cream is one of my favorite desserts and when I was trying to come up with an idea I wanted to make something that I could use if I wanted to so I thought doing something with ice cream would work perfectly. I think the hardest part about this project was the lid because I had to make it look like ice cream scoops and make it big enough to fit the opening of my cup. My other challenge was the spout because I made several that were just too big for the size of my teapot and I didn't want a spout that looked awkardly sized in my teapot. For colors I decided to use inderglaze for all of it and I had to mix all of my colors. For the spoon I did a mixture of blue and yellow when I was trying to make mint green and I got this color and thought that it looked really cool and I wanted my spoon to be a fun color and this was the perfect color for that. For my ice cream I mixed a light green with some white and I believe a little bit of blue and then I just used black to make the chips on top. For my cup I mixed black and white to make a dark gray to resemble the metal milkshake cups that you get when you order a milkshake. Finally for my spout I mixed orange and yellow then gradually added a tiny bit of brown and white to lighten it up and I ended up with this color which I think turned out to be a good cone color.
