What is GameDev Club?
GameDev club is dedicated to the conception, design, and coding of original video games. This mission is carried out through participation in "Game Jams," competitions hosted by independent third parties wherein a team of participants has a limited amount of time to create an entirely original video game adhering to a given theme. Students in the club will collaborate, and the whole club will work to complete one game. Some students will be more inclined to work on coding the game, some on designing it, some on making the art for the game, and others still on animating the different assets within. The idea is to make the most of all the members' unique talents and to create something that everyone can be proud of (and hopefully win a jam).
