What is Best Buddies?
Best Buddies is an international organization whose mission is to create opportunities for friendship, employment, and leadership for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). WHS Best Buddies is "more than a club" as we are committed to facilitating friendships and fostering a community of acceptance and inclusion of people with diverse abilities. Students can join as an associate member and attend club meetings and events, or apply to be paired in a friendship with a student with IDD and spend time with their buddy outside of established club meetings and events. We offer a variety of events including dances, crafts, field day, movie night, games, apple picking, bowling, and more.

Register on Arbiter & contact Ms. Miller if your student was unable to attend the annual informational meeting at WHS.
WHS Best Buddies won 2020-2021 Massachusetts Outstanding High School Chapter of the Year, and 2016-2017 International Outstanding High School Chapter of the Year!
