What is the Beekeeping Club?
The primary mission of the Beekeeping Club is to help protect and preserve the honey bee. We do this by offering our students the opportunity to become Beekeepers! Members of the WHS Beekeeping Club meet weekly to attend our Bee School. Instruction takes place in the classroom as well as out at the bee yard. Students assist in the installation and management of two honey bee colonies that are located on the WHS campus. We feel this hands-on beekeeping experience is unique and of value to our students and the beekeeping community.
