What is Cybersecurity Club?
In the Cybersecurity Club, students will learn proper internet etiquette, how vulnerabilities are detected and exploited, and how we can prevent and fix said vulnerabilities. We will learn about past security breaches and examine what went wrong. Students will explore different penetration testing methods, using software and hardware that professional penetration testers use. We will discuss new software and the security implications of the software. For example, the different pros and cons of various search engines. We will also discuss internet anonymity, specifically VPN’s, proxy servers, and tor nodes. The Cyber Security Club will explore all formats of data security, not just email, or social media.
