What is Center Stage Tech Crew?
Center Stage Tech Crew is the creative design and execution crews behind the scenes of main stage productions at WHS. When you watch and experience a WHS show, we are the people who have constructed the sets, costumes, and atmosphere of sound and light! We meet in the months leading up to a production, and meetings depend on the specific crew you are in. Through being in tech, you'll pick up useful skills like how to work certain machinery, stay organized, meet deadlines, and work as a team with some really cool people. It's a great way to contribute to our theatre program without being on stage!

Build crew - Designs and builds sets
Paint crew - Paints the sets and other set pieces
Props crew - Finds and organizes props and set pieces
Costumes crew - Designs and makes costumes for shows
Light crew- Designs light plots and sets cues for shows
Sound crew - Runs the soundboard with mics and sound effects
Run crew - Backstage during shows executing costume changes, set changes, and prop changesÂ

Usually a couple days per week during show season
