CAD modelling on Onshape is so that we can be helped to visualise our layers and the construction of the mosquito coil holder, and to generate a 3D line drawing to export to Procreate to use as our final presentation rendering. This is a really important skill in the project and it really helps learning to sketch in 3D. This is my finished AR model of my mosquito coil holder.
I inseted the photo of my procreate design to trace the sketch onto my 3D design
After sketching, I then extruded unneeded parts to shape each layers.
I splited each parts of resins and timbers for each layers.
Finally, I made a hole for brass pin to go through, and colored each parts for more realistic view. Below are my parts and some photos of my work.
For the very last thing, I exported my deisign into a drawing and printed out for making.
