Project Operations Department Email:
TO BE RELEASED
The Project Operations Department (POD), working under the Office of the President (OP), serves as the main pool of manpower for all Sanggunian projects and OSCC events across the four councils. POD extends its resources and workforce to all stages of project execution — from planning, preparation, execution, and up to post-implementation. Structured with specialized committees, namely, logistics, programs, and externals, the department ensures the smooth and successful flow of programs. POD ultimately contributes to keeping the community immersed and unified through the diverse projects and events accomplished.
The Project Operations Executive (POE) heads the Project Operations Department and represents the department in the Sanggunian’s Executive Council. They oversee projects, devise plans, and delegate tasks to the team. Essentially, the POE ensures the smooth flow of information and communication within and beyond the department, throughout the project's life cycle.
The Project Operations Department is spearheaded by the Project Operations Executive (POE), the Project Operations Co-Head, and the Project Operations Secretary. It is divided into three general committees, namely: Logistics, Programs, and Externals, with each unit having distinct duties. The members are managed by their committee heads and co-heads. Additionally, the four major councils are represented by their respective council managers.
The Logistics Committee oversees a project's technical, organizational, and logistical elements. They are at the forefront of onsite activities as the Sanggunian's pool of manpower.
The Programs Committee spearheads a project’s preparation and facilitation phases. They play a vital role in coordinating with existing partnerships within the ASHS.
The Externals Committee handles a project's publication, promotion, and partnership aspects. They collaborate closely with the Communications Department regarding the creation of pubmats.
The Project Operations Department primarily utilizes the A10 Manpower Request Form, where any OSCC can avail of the department’s services, with an ideal lead time of 2-3 weeks before the project implementation. Essentially, all recognized services of POD are available upon request. On the other hand, the A10-X Express Manpower Request Form is also open for those parties that need immediate manpower. A minimum of 3 days lead time is required, and it provides limited services.
