Athletes' Council (AthC)
The ASHS Athletes’ Council (AthC) is one of the four main councils under the ASHS Sanggunian that focuses on the sports and fitness sectors of the Ateneo de Manila Senior High School. It is composed of a total of three (3) assemblies: the Varsity Council Assembly, Sports Beadles Assembly, and Sports Clubs Assembly with fourteen (14) active clubs. It shall serve as an avenue for all students and student-athletes concerning sports or fitness-related activities or initiatives that promote the principle of “mens sana in corpore sano” or having a healthy mind in a healthy body.
Our Mission
The Athletes’ Council aims to provide an avenue for the entire ASHS Community to embody ''mens sana in corpore sano'' or having a healthy mind in a healthy body not only limited to the parameters of the playing courts.
The Athletes’ Council envisions itself and the ASHS community as communities that can appreciate and have the capacity to recognize the different student-athletes of the ASHS Community who represent our school and country, along with the diversity that sports foster in igniting the passion and commitment that each individual brings.
