What is the Communications Department?

The ASHS Sanggunian Communications Department is the official communications arm of the Sanggunian. It aims to bring the Sanggunian to the student body with efficiency, effectivity and professionalism. It does this through managing the ASHS Sanggunian’s online image and serving as its implementing body for material and content creation, both physical and digital. Furthermore, it is also in charge of the documentation of the ASHS Sanggunian’s events.

Acting as the bridge that connects the ASHS Sanggunian to the whole student body, it administers all of the Sanggunian's online outlets, while also serving as a creative hub for people with skills in graphic design, video editing, video animation, web design, writing, and so much more.

Communications Department Overall Director

The Overall Director oversees the operations of the whole Communications Department.

The Administrative Co-Director is the second-in-command in charge of spearheading the operations as well as ensuring the well-being of its members, acting as the “Human Resources Head” of the Communications Department with the assistance of the Communications Department Secretary. They are also responsible for scheduling the posting of content created by the Communications Department and requesting parties through the Online A09 Extension Forms, specifically the A09-R, and disseminating important information regarding content creation requests to the Creatives Co-Director.

The Social Media Co-Director also manages the Online A09 Extension Forms, and is tasked with facilitating the A09-E forms in particular, aside from being tasked with quality assurance and management spanning all Sanggunian Online Outlets, including the OSA Website.

The Creatives Co-Director is in charge of delegating creative tasks to the Department.

The Copy Co-Director is in charge of creating statements by supervising the Sanggunian Press Committee and working alongside the Creatives Co-Director in delegating writing and research tasks to the Department.

The Communications Department Secretary, mainly assists the Core Communications Department in managing all of its impending affairs.

The Subgroup Heads, assisted by their corresponding Co-Head, work as representatives of the Core Communications Department to their respective councils, as they delegate tasks within their subgroups.

The Department Manual outlines the responsibilities of all positions under the department. In addition, it serves as a guide for procedures and operations conducted by the department.

A09-R

The A09-R allows OSCCs to request for the creation of publication materials.

A09-E

The A09-E allows OSCCs to request the posting of their publication materials on the official ASHS Sanggunian Online Outlets.

A09-M

The A09-M must be sent by a requesting OSCC moderator to signify their approval of the OSCC's A09-E (Request to Post on ASHS Sanggunian Online Outlets).

A09-E Posting Availability

The A09-E Posting Availability is a Google Sheet that allows OSCCs to view the availability of posting slots on the ASHS Sanggunian Online Outlets.
