There was a great atmosphere under the lights at Union College for the annual Homecoming game, as Niskayuna won 31-7 against the South Glens Falls Bulldogs. The crowd at the game was energized, with Nisky also clinching a playoff spot, staying 4-0 in division play and 6-2 overall. Senior Dahvion Wimberly had an amazing night, with 2 receiving touchdowns from Quarterback Ethan Gilson and another touchdown on the ground. Running back Isaiah Linyear also added on a 52-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to put the game on ice. In addition, Kicker Cooper Harvey flawlessly made all of his extra-point attempts and a field goal in the second quarter.

Niskayuna continues their hot streak, winning five games in a row against Queensbury, Ballston Spa, Troy, Albany, and South Glens Falls. The team wins by a big margin, averaging 34.6 points per game and beating their opponents by an average of 23.4 points over this five-game span, the Silver Warriors are an attacking menace. With a tough division game against Burnt Hills coming up, the offense will need to stay on their feet as Niskayuna looks to finish out the regular season on a high. Undefeated in the division and 6-1 overall so far, the Burnt Hills Spartans boast a fantastic record while recently defeating a strong Ballston Spa team 14-0. On top of their defiant defense, they also have a running game that will be difficult to stop. However, Niskayuna has plans of their own and with lots of momentum coming into this game, and they are ready to face any challenge. After the regular season concludes, Niskayuna will look to make a deep run into the Class A Section II playoffs where they will have high expectations.
