As a result of COVID-19, the over-the-phone Interpretation service has been expanded to an additional method and now can accommodate conferences on virtual platforms. The first method still provides the original over-the-phone interpreter process, and the second method provides access to the same service on remote platforms, including MS Teams and Google Meets. Below you will find links to step-by-step guides to each method.
Please note, these instructions are for DOE school-based staff only and may not be shared with parents or the general public

METHOD 2: Over-the-phone Interpretation Process via Remote Platforms
As a result of COVID-19 many meetings have moved to remote conference calls. This link will take you to the page that has a step-by-step guide covering the process for accessing over-the-phone interpretation service on virtual platforms, including MS Teams and Google Meet. The service allows interpreters to dial-into MS Teams and Google Meet, but a DOE employee must call-in by phone and the virtual platform must have a dial-in phone number.
