Use Remind to efficiently reinforce communication systems you already have in place. In addition to a class blog, learning management system, or student agendas, you can send or schedule a text message (including attachments) to remind students and families about important due dates, upcoming tests and quizzes, schedule changes, field trips, or other pertinent information. You can also use it to extend encouraging messages before or after exams or tests, or even before a day with a substitute teacher. For extended vacations or year-round schools, stay connected here and there while kids are on break; suggest books to read, send out interesting facts, or ask kids to respond to optional polls to reinforce tidbits of learning while they're away. Forgot to mention something in class, need parent volunteers, or want to give kids a quick review before tomorrow's test? Remind integrates with applications such as Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, SignUpGenius, Quizlet, and many others, making it a one-stop school-to-home communication tool. For even more ideas, check out Remind's Twitter feed or the site's blog to get updates about new features and useful examples related to time management, communication, and positive messaging.
Simply add members by sharing a link, having them text a class code to a five-digit number, or sending them a PDF with written instructions. After a confirmation text, they'll begin receiving all messages through either SMS or email. Teachers can manage up to 10 classes with an unlimited number of subscribers per class. While Remind is great for sending reminders about homework and assignments, other options for productivity allow teachers to set office hours, create collaborative groups, add co-teachers, get readreceipts, and schedule messages.
In order to support systems already in place at your school, you can also add parents directly to your REMIND class by looking up all the parents who may not be available(**all blocked or answering machine** located in the "Delivery Results" tab in School Messenger) for contact through school messenger.
Reach every family with the ability to translate messages into 85+ languages before you send. Anyone using the app will have the option of translating your messages as well. Parents will be able to comment through text message even if the app isn't downlaoded to their phones.
Remind’s partnered with dozens of the leading apps and services in education so that no matter what you’re doing, you can make sure that
your students or parents are getting the message. Here’s the full list of all the available integrations on Remind (the bolded apps are available as Remind composer integrations).
