Brother Franklin William Cullen, C.S.C. (1917-2006)
Nativity
embroidery
date unknown
Brother Franklin portrayed this embroidered nativity scene stitch by loving stitch, but one wonders where he found the time. Brother Franklin served as the head librarian at St. Edward’s University from 1966-1971, but was also a high school teacher and librarian, tank commander during the Battle of the Bulge, and a historian with a flair for storytelling.
