Robert Hamman received his BA from St. Edward’s University and is a former Brother of Holy Cross. He is now a successful artist in San Antonio, with multiple works in the University’s collection. His expressive style is reminiscent of both American and French impressionists, and employs a wide range of colors layered in a dense stippling technique. This particular painting was a gift to ​​The Brothers of Holy Cross, Moreau Provincial Center.
