Catholics believe that the best revelation of the Trinity was demonstrated in Jesus. and we read about Jesus in the Bible.
The Bible has two parts: the Old testament and the New testament. the Old testament is the part of the Bible that was written before Jesus's life. it contains the history and faith of the Israelites. The New testament is the part that was written after Jesus' life. It contains the history and the faith of those who followed Jesus.
The meaning of the word testament is covenant, which is an agreement or promise. The whole of the Bible is the story of God's covenants with the people he chooses throughout history. We can read in the Old testament about the covenant with Abraham and then Moses etc.. The Old testament shows how god keeps his promises with his people and how they try to keep their side of the promise.

In the New Testament God reveals Himself as Jesus. this testament shows how He was born, how he established a New and everlasting covenant and how he died and resurrected to go back into Heaven. That new covenant was made so that all those who believe will have peace with Him.
