Timeline for Applications  

Applications will open from 1st October 2024 on help you choose  but we do advise you to consider your options carefully. We are running an Open Evening on the 17th October where you can come and visit our school and speak to the teachers about the Sixth Form and the subjects we offer.

We are also running an A Level Taster Day where you can apply to experience five A Level subjects as a Sixth Form student for the day to aid your decision. More information will follow shortly.

Applications should be submitted online via Help You Choose by 19th December 2024.

We aim to interview all applicants who have met this deadline before February half term with conditional offers being made thereafter.  In the summer term we will run an Induction Day for students who have been offered conditional places and a parent/carer Information Evening.  

On the day of GCSE results you will be able to enroll onto your chosen courses if you have met the entry criteria or book an enrolment interview to discuss your options.

How to apply to Sprowston Sixth Form

Apply online via help you choose answering all the questions in the online application form and when your form is complete, read it through carefully before submitting it.  Next you will be contacted and an appointment given for an interview to discuss your choices.  Offers will be made after interviews take place in February.

Course Viability

Please be aware that the courses offered on this site are the curriculum offer for September 2025.  If numbers of students for a course are low then the decision not to run the course may be taken.

Financial Assistance

The 16-19 Bursary Fund
The Government sets aside some money for schools, colleges, training providers and local authorities to allocate to young people who need financial support to stay on in further education or training. This is called the 16-19 Bursary Fund.  It could help you with any education-related costs that may arise during the school year, including books, equipment, transport to and from school and educational visits.
