THE COURSE
4 units are studied throughout the 2-year course.
Unit 1 – Human Lifespan Development (exam). Learners cover physical, intellectual, emotional and social development across the human lifespan, and the factors affecting development and the effects of ageing.
Unit 2 – Human Biology and Health (exam).
Unit 3 – Principles of Health and Social Care Practice (coursework).
Unit 4 – Optional Unit (coursework). Content tbc
Assessment
Four units are assessed. Two units are external written exams; the remaining two units are controlled assessments written by Pearson.
