The care and development of children shall be a Primordial concern of the City of Muntinlupa. The city government shall establish a system for the care and development of all children that shall have programs on health, nutrition, early education, and social services to promote their optimum growth and development. This program includes:

 Strengthened Early Childhood Care and Development System. Pursuant to the Republic Act No. 1 0410 or Early Years Act (N)

(a) Center-based programs, such as child development centers, public and private pre-schools, kindergarten or school-based programs, elementary and high schools, community or church-based education programs initiated by nongovernment organizations or people's organizations, workplace-related child care and education programs, child-minding centers, health centers and stations; and

(b) Home-based programs, such as the neighborhood-based play groups, family day care programs, parent education and home visiting programs.

School Seminar: Ten Rights of the Child

Seminars were held in different barangays of Muntinlupa with the topic of “The Ten Rights of the Child.” These rights include the four main pillars of the Muntinlupa City Council for the Protection of Children (MCCPC) which are: survival, development, protection, and participation.

PLMUN-OSMun College of Medicine

The PLMun-OsMun College of Medicine is a joint venture of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa and Ospital ng Muntinlupa through the City Government of Muntinlupa.

Colegio De Muntinlupa

CDM is a public educational institution under the local government and is recognized by CHED as a tuition-free higher education provider in Muntinlupa

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) is a local university in the Philippines, situated in the City of Muntinlupa. It stands as one of the two public tertiary education institutions in the city, the other being Colegio de Muntinlupa.

Offer alternative choice and provide quality technical, vocational, educational entrepreneurial training and skills development programs relevant to the industry and business needs of the City of Muntinlupa.

Munteen Center

The center's objective is to establish a secure and welcoming environment for the youth in the city. It will function as a place where they can openly express themselves, exhibit their talents or skills, and access assistance and resources customized to their individual requirements.

Inclusive Learning Resource Center (ILRC)

DepEd Order no. 44 s. 2021, ILRC provided a better environment for all learners to collaborate, regardless of their issues or differences, and sought to make schools inclusive; this shall ensure that students with disabilities are included in mainstream or general education classes.

Muntinlupa Reading Community and Muntinlupa Reading Book (MRR) Club

The MRR Club endeavors to nurture fundamental literacy skills, including reading, listening, comprehension, speaking, and vocabulary, from a young age. Additionally, it seeks to foster stronger familial connections through engaging parent-child interactions.

Muntinlupa Sports Facilities for Children and Youth

(Muntinlupa Sports Center, Muntinlupa Track & Field Oval, Muntinlupa Aquatic Center)

Through active participation in sports, children grasp the importance of teamwork and education, cultivate discipline, lead healthier lifestyles, and attain a well-rounded existence encompassing physical, social, and intellectual aspects.

Mobile Learning Hub for Disaster Preparedness

The learning bus features an advanced Virtual Reality section, allowing residents to don VR headsets and engage in immersive simulations of various disasters. These scenarios, including earthquakes, flooding, storm surges, bomb explosions, chemical incidents, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and landslides, offer a lifelike experience for effective disaster preparedness training.

Museo ng Muntinlupa

Museo ng Muntinlupa, located at the shore of Laguna de Bay, is a state-of-the-art five-story building that contains a main gallery, a mayor’s hall, an interactive science center, and a PWD-friendly 200-seater theater that may serve as a venue for cultural shows, orientations, and audio-visual presentations.  

Sagip Center

SAGIP ng Muntinlupa, a project of the City Government of Muntinlupa is 24-hour crisis center for abused women and children.

City Public Library

The Muntinlupa City Public Library is dedicated to offering top-notch resources, programs, and services, ensuring lifelong learning opportunities for its diverse and evolving community by ensuring free and open access to information, curating a high-quality collection of books, providing recreational resources for leisure and enjoyment, and collaborating in the development and implementation of technology to enhance services and accessibility.

Local State of Children Address

An annual summit for children is organized in the city of Muntinlupa every November to celebrate Children's Month. This summit is planned and conducted with active participation from children themselves. It serves as a platform to engage in discussions about the current situation of children in the city and address various issues affecting them. Through these discussions, appropriate measures can be formulated to tackle these challenges effectively and ensure the well-being and development of the city's children.
