2023 NCM Theme: “Healthy, Nourished, Sheltered: Ensuring the Right to Life for All!”
92 Child Development Centers, Home Based and Supervised Neighborhood Play Areas opened as scheduled and operational for 10 months
At least 80 Children per Child Development Center were mapped and registered
8,099 children were assessed with the ECCD Checklist twice a year; provided with socialization activities and were served through Medical and Dental Check-ups and 120-Day Supplemental Feeding Program
8,099 ECCD beneficiaries were given Balik Eskwela Kits (bags containing day care-appropriate school supplies and water tumbler) – (amount utilized: PhP 5,660,116.70)
113,088 students from kinder to senior high school were enrolled and accommodated for SY 2022-2023 for both 27 public and 80 private schools located in Muntinlupa City; 88,101 (or 78%) of enrollees are in Public Schools while 24,987 (or 28%) of students are in private schools all of which are being monitored by the Schools Division Office (SDO)
Distribution of 5,000 health kits for all public elementary and high school in Muntinlupa City to help in preventing the spread of illnesses within school premises, in time with the face-to-face classes
Year-round assessment, maintenance, repairs and enhancement of school buildings, classrooms and other learning facilities as funded by Special Education Fund (SEF) i.e.,

At least 2,491 teachers were enjoined in conducting action researchers to better understand current learning pedagogies; and to introduce innovations to better facilitate learning for learners during post-COVID period.
Sustained availability of Blended Learning Modalities and development and establishment of Learning Contingency plans among schools to ensure continuous learning amidst post-COVID time, and in times of calamities;
Offering of Open High School and ALS for students in special situations, most especially teenage parents and drop-outs.
Continuous construction, maintenance and repairs, enhancement and related improvements on public schools, school facilities such as laboratories and libraries; including upgrades of day care centers (budgeted under Special Education Fund or SEF)
Pipelined project: construction of Inclusive Learning Resource Center (ILRC) with PWD-responsive facilities and features that can enable responsive education and skills training for SPED students
Ongoing Basa Batang Munti or community-based outreach program facilitated with at least 3 activities done and around 100 children involved
165 researchers assisted through the Public Library Online Help Research services
Public Library’s Readers Service Program has catered around 17,752 library users, most of which are children and youth, including student researchers, who visit both main MCPL located at the Plaza Central and the MCPL extension located at Bayanan
1,075 books donated by MCPL in different Barangay Reading Centers in Muntinlupa City
Launching of Muntinlupa Reading Community and Muntinlupa Reading Book (MRB) Club which aims to reinforce literacy skills among children and youth and to engage reading volunteers as part of the Make Your City Proud Program (MYCP).
The Muntinlupa Reading Book Club (MRB Club) is an ongoing reading session every Saturday which has already involved around 1,500 children in various communities of 8 barangays of Muntinlupa City from its launch up until recent.
Various culture and arts activities implemented for Children, such as:
Day-explorations facilitated by TCAD for 30 children with disabilities (CWDs) from Batang Munti Foundation and for 10 MOST Students through Muntinlupa City Tours.
Around 100 junior high school students from Muntinlupa Science High School and Tunasan National High School involved in the Hello! Japan Program by the Japan Information and Culture Center of the Embassy of Japan in Philippines wherein they experienced interactive Japanese language lessons and insights on Japanese culture
Daily operations with safety measures for the Museo ng Muntinlupa which caters an average of 10 to 20 students, children and youths who visit the facility to gain cultural, heritage and arts exposure;
Participation of 10 remarkable young artists ages 9-15 who showcased their artistic skills on portraying Filipino cuisine during the 2023 International Friendly City Painting Exhibition held on September 21, 2023 at the Museo ng Muntinlupa - - - paintings are proudly exhibited in Liuzhou, China as a way of bridging cultures and fostering artistic exchange
Participation of 9 children ages 9-15 years old representing different schools in Muntinlupa City during the 5th Mayors for Peace Children Arts Competition held on October 10, 2023 at the Museo ng Muntinlupa – - - selected artworks were sent to Hiroshima, Japan for final judging with results to be announced on January 2024.
Provided scholarship and educational financial assistance to 78,172 active scholars from elementary to college level from both public and private schools, including technical-vocational students and public school teachers given scholarship grants for SY 2022-2023; with the specific brackets as follows:
67,384 students benefited from High school and Elementary Learners Program (HELP) – (PhP 148Million – GF; PhP 169.268Million – GAD Fund))
2,469 Grade 12 Senior High School Graduates from Public High Schools (PhP 12.277Million)
988 students referred by partner school and nearby LGU assisted (PhP 9.225Million)
210 beneficiaries assisted for Alternative Learning System (ALS)

Periodical conduct of Career Guidance for Senior High School students spearheaded by PESO wherein SHS students were oriented and given awareness on their possible career development after school. Topics on Labor Market Information, Fourth Industrial Revolution, Entrepreneurship and Productive Career Choice were discussed in this activity.
More than 100 Grade 12 students and college students involved in the Labor Education Graduating Students (LEGS) Program wherein they were oriented on their rights, roles, duties and privileges once they become members of the labor force (employment laws and policies) and what are the available social protection and anti-discrimination interventions for them.
The Muntinlupa City government is hosting the 8th Sonny Ty International Gymnastic Cup 2023 from October 20 to 22, 2023 at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex in Barangay Tunasan. More than 600 delegates from Asia such as Hong Kong, Japan, India, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines are participating in this year’s competition.

1 SMART, Green, and Resilient Building established and 1 operational CDM FM Radio Station
750 students and 113 faculty members participated in the first day of classes opened at Colegio de Muntinlupa
103 CDM students attended the Emergency Response Team Refresher Course
600 CDM students attended Basic Life Support and First Aide Training (or Webinar)
100 CDM students attended Emergency Management Training
Conducted 1 Disaster Preparedness seminar with 500 CDM students and 5 CDM faculty participated
CDM is still recognized as a Free Higher Education Institution
CDM was able to establish linkage and partnership with at least 17 sectors in the community or public and private institutions for their students’ welfare and advancement; the following industries/ partners were: DL Cervantes, Bruvver, Xinyx, ICpEP - Singapore, NASAT, SharePro, NPC, Gaudan Design and Construction, DMCI Holdings, PEB Srteel, Primewater, Fuji-haya, Carrier, Melham, Oriental Mindoro Electric Cooperative, Philippine Public Safety College, Muntinlupa City Engineering Department

174 Qualified CDM Students recognized as academically excellent and given educational financial assistance

Ongoing enhancements of curriculum and instruction for globally-competitive yet locally-responsive learning opportunities
PLMun-OsMun College of Medicine – with increasing number of enrolled medicine students provided with scholarship under LAMP of MSD
Continuous operations of In-House Review Center for Board Examinations on Criminal Justice, Accountancy, Teaching Education and Psychology;
Values and Development and Life Transformation Program provided for 100% of enrolled PLMun students
Consistent and upgraded implementation of Technical-Vocational Education Program thru MCTI with the following specifics:
242 trainees enrolled and provided with short courses; 486 trainees from barangays involved in various livelihood skills training and entrepreneurship development i.e., liquid detergent and hand soap making, food production; etc.
957 onsite trainees assisted for Supervised Industry Learning; with 72 students endorsed for OJT; and 492 graduates endorsed for possible employment
Community Skills Training Needs Assessment involving more than 460 participants from all barangays
20 Community-based Trainings conducted benefiting a total of 190 trainees, including ALS trainees
