You must provision your Moodle course through the Panopto block before you can add specific links to videos. To add the Panopto block to your course, see Add the Panopto Block and Connect Your Moodle Course to Panopto.

Add Panopto Link to Moodle

1. Go to the main page of your Moodle course. In the top-right of the page, select Turn editing on. Editing icons will appear.

2. Find the topic or section area where you want to add a Panopto link. Select + Add an activity or resource. The activity chooser will open.

3. From the activity chooser menu, select Panopto, then select Add. The Adding a new External tool page will open.

4. In the Adding a new External tool page, enter an Activity name.

5. Select the Select content button to open the Select content window. From this window, you can add Panopto content using two of the three tabs:

   1. 1. Choose an existing video to share;

      2. Upload new content to share

Once you have chosen or uploaded the content, select Insert.

Note: when selecting a video, you can search all your previous classes linked to Panopto and access previously created videos on your account.

6. (Optional) By default, the Panopto activity will add a grade column to the Moodle gradebook. If you do not wish to have a grade column, expand the Privacy heading and uncheck the box Accept grades from the tool.

7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save to return to your course.

8. The page will refresh, indicating that the Panopto link has been added to your course.
