I'm Soil Scientist. I got position at the Faculty of Soil science of LMSU in 1993 after graduation. My current position is Associate Professor. I’m teaching courses in Soil Classification, the History and Methodology of Soil Science, Urban Ecology and Urban Soils. I also teach a fieldwork course in Soil Geography and Morphology (Zonal practice). My thesis dealt with urban soils and I did most of my research in Moscow. And it’s still the field of my major interest.

I am member of the Dokuchaev Soil Science Society. I'm also member of the Committee of the Lomonosov Olympic Games in Ecology. All of my work is in the information system of the LMSU http://istina.msu.ru/profile/tatianaprokofieva/
