I'm Soil Scientist and Geographer. I got position at the University in 1999. Currently in the Department of Soil Science and Landscape Management at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. My researches are focusing on two main issues:

i) classification of soils: I'm co-chair of Anthropogenic and Technogenic soils Working Group of Soil Genesis, Classification and Cartography Commission of Polish Soil Science Society. I co-translated all three editions of World Reference Base for Soil Resources (1998, 2006/2007, 2014/2015 into Polish;

ii) technogenic soils: especially sealed soils, edifisols, soils of cemeteries and garden soils.

I am NCU Faculty of Earth Sciences Erasmus+ Coordinator. I'm also Chairman of the Regional Committee of the Geographical Olympic Games in Toruń. More about Me HERE
