Equal Participation in Visual and Media Arts
Equal opportunities should be provided for young people and children with impairments (disabilities) to participate equally in visual and media arts (V & M). This could be encouraged through:
development of an inclusive Visual and Media Policy
engagement of male and female youths with impairments in the policy making
integration of V & M Arts in Formal and Non-formal Education
community awareness on the importance of V & M for children
training and workshops on V & M production processes for people everywhere
