Village Archives Group

The Village Archives

The Village Archives group have not been active since August 2021. However the group have put together a village archive which consists of a catalogued collection of papers, photographs & maps relating to the history of the village, most of which were gathered together by Peter Garnett. Peter was a previous resident of Wellington Heath & a local historian & naturalist. His book 'Portrait of Wellington Heath' covers the development of the village from before the Norman Conquest to the early years of the second millennium.
