Friends of Christ Church Wellington Heath

The Friends of Christ Church is a charitable trust set up in 1994. There are two main aims of the Friends:

1.To promote the Christian religion, its meaning, and present day relevance in partnership with the community.

2. To raise money to help maintain the fabric and furnishings of the Church. (All money stays with the church, and no money goes to the diocese).

Since its formation in 1994, over £52,000 has been spent by the Friends on building repairs, a new gas heating system, electrical upgrading, and cemetery upkeep. It has concentrated on making sure that the Church, and its facilities remain a community asset. Most of the “Friends” are not church goers, but believe that the church should remain an important part of the fabric of our community. 

Please consider joining the Friends and help the Church to continue to grow and to serve our community as a focal point of village life. A regular donation, however small, can be made by filling in the standing order form which you can download here and returning it to Jonathan Andrew, Treasurer of the Friends.
