Garden Club
Wellington Heath Garden Club was formed about 20 years ago and currently has about 40 members from the village and the local area. The annual subscription is £15 and visitors are welcome to attend for a charge of £3 per meeting and £5 for the Christmas Social. Monthly meetings are held in the Memorial Hall on the second Wednesday of each month with a break in August. We have a speaker at each meeting, providing a good variety of subjects, and usually a group visit to an interesting garden during the summer. The Garden Club is a friendly and informal group of gardening enthusiasts. New members are always welcome, whether they have a small patio or something much larger and whether they are experienced or not. Members also enjoy very substantial discounts from Bulb and Seed catalogues. Refreshments are served before each meeting at 7.45pm with the main talk at 8pm. Talks are usually illustrated with photos and frequently there are plants for sale, and a raffle at the end.
