Stir Fry Chicken

This is a basic stir fry sauce recipe that my dad gave me. The kids love this.

Ingredients

1 pound boneless skinless chicken thigh meat, diced

2 T Corn starch

Vegetables (broccoli, greens, etc.) chopped in pieces

Sauce

4 T soy sauce

1 T vinegar

1 T sugar

1 T wine

Frangrant Mixture

2 green onions, chopped finely

2 cloves garlic, crushed

Optional: slice of ginger chopped finely

Coat diced chicken with cornstarch. Heat heavy skillet on high to as high a temperature as your stove top allows. Add some oil (peanut/canola/other high temperature oils) to the skillet. Add chicken and cook until the meat turns white on both sides.

Heat a wok on high. Add oil to wok. Add fragrant mixture and stir fry until you can smell the mixture but don’t let the garlic burn. Add vegetables and cook until veggies are almost done. Add sauce and chicken to the veggies. Cook until sauce thickens and serve.
