This is a basic stir fry recipe that can be used with any meat and vegetables.
1 pound beef, sliced
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
2 T corn starch
2-3 T soy sauce
2 T Hoisin sauce
1 T oyster sauce
1 t hot bean sauce
5 T chicken stock (or water)
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 green onions, diced
Mix sliced beef with corn starch. Heat pan to high heat, add some oil that can take high heat (such as canola or peanut oil), and pan fry beef until cooked. Remove from heat. Heat wok on high, add oil, and stir fry onions, garlic, and green onions until the onions are almost transparent and the mixture is fragrant. Add bell peppers and stir fry until the peppers are cooked. Add beef, seasoning and chicken stock/water. Cook until mixture thickens. Add more stock if necessary. Serve with rice.
