Here are a few photos and a list of what we did today:
We had an ADST (Applied Design, Skills, Technology) challenge to make something with tape, pipecleaners, paper and beads (optional). Then we shared our designs, and recorded and labelled them in our books.
We had Book Look time (we each have individual bags)
We continued reading "George's Marvellous Medecine" (by Roald Dahl) and we are doing some sketchnoting to help with our comprehension.
We played a dice math game.
We played outside, went for a run and tried out both play structures now that they're open.
We had stories (Triangle, Circle and Square by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen)
We built with lego.
We labelled a diagram of a butterfly and did used adjectives to describe butterflies.
We washed our hands A LOT!
This is what the classroom looks like now. Each student has a designated area for their supplies (in a bin that stays at school) and a workspace.
This is what our cloakroom looks like now! We do not use it. All student supplies are stored in their workspace. We do not change our shoes and one pair is sufficient please.
