Lots going on in February! Here are some reminders for families:
- Assessment folders were sent home last week. Please keep all of your child's work and send the folder back to school with any comments or questions.
- It has been super wet for the last month. Please make sure your child has an extra set of clothes at school in case of accident.
- Friday, Feb. 14 is a Pro-D day so there is no school for kids
- We are celebrating Valentine's day in our class first thing in the morning on Thursday, Feb. 13th. Class lists of names were sent home. Please make sure you add 'Jake' and 'Karter' to the list. Welcome to Ruth King!!! Please send a card for each child (bought or homemade) so that there are no hurt feelings. This is a great literacy activity for students to do themselves! As a result of allergies, we are not inviting cupcakes/baked goods this year. Thanks for your understanding.
- Family Day Holiday is February 17 - School is closed. Enjoy the day!
- The Kindergarten and Grade 1 classes will be celebrating 100 Day on Wednesday February 19th! We will be participating in some fun, collaborative numeracy centered activities in the gym with the other classes. Should be fun!
- Field trip to Hartland Landfill to learn about recycling on Tues. Feb. 25. We are looking for parent volunteers who might like to attend.
