- This week we read Dragons Love Tacos and Dragons Love Tacos 2! We designed our own dragons and painted them with watercolour paints. Then we did writing to describe our dragons and they did a fabulous job!
- We did a nature scavenger hunt outside.
- We did daily reading of our book bag books and our poetry duotang.
- We did addition practice of doubles and doubles +1, with some students starting some challenge work of numbers to 100 skip counting.
- We are continuing to read and sketch note (for comprehension) 'George's Marvellous Medecine' - it is getting exciting because George is getting ready to serve the potion to Grandma!
- We have our daily outside play and run times and are continuing to build on our lego creations.
- We completed our Core Competency Self-Assessments (these will be sent home with summary reports)
- We just missed a special visitor to the Ruth King playground...this really cool moth! Ms. Ives took photos which we looked at. We hunted but unfortunately the moth had already left.
