Satwa
Ingredients:
2 oz of each of the following:
barley, corn, rice, sago, split peas,
mung beans, black-eye beans, red peas,
peanuts
2 pieces of cinnamon stick
2 oz sugar
Instructions:
Wash grains and pulses and dry. Heat a thick carahee and add dried grains and cinnamon.
Parch for 15-20 minutes or until grains are crisp. Cool completely. Grind.
Add sugar and mix thoroughly. Store In an airtight container.
Serve for breakfast or a snack. Some milk can be added before eating.
