After nearly a week off the team is anxious to begin working again. Our plans for the coming week include finishing up all field work, making sure all manual counts both on bridges and verification counts are completed. This way we can spend the rest of our time analyzing the results.
We hope to gain an efficient way of tracking mobility of people through the cameras and Placemeter software. Not only would automatic counting be more efficient than manual counting, but it would also be cheaper. Another result we hope to achieve is verifying the predictions of the 2013 IQP team. With any luck the predictions will be accurate and the model can be based off of their work.
There are only 12 work days left before our presentation and 14 days left before our final paper is due. So much work to do in so little time.

And here is an image showing the comparative cost between automatic and manual counting. The numbers were calculated for a 24 hour collection day with a worker being pain 12 euros per hour.
