One of the improvement points we wanted to make during our IQP in Venice was to allow a user to download full resolution images from the Bell Tower pages on Venipedia. To reduce loading time, only thumbnails are shown on the actual Venipedia page, so within the Bell Tower Venipedia template, I was able to hyperlink the previously existing caption on the image to the original size of the photo in the data base.
The effect is great! It makes the existing photographs look much improved as they can now be seen in a better resolution. Before, an image would only appear this large, and it was impossible for any better quality to be obtained:
But now, when the link is clicked, users are taken to the full resolution image:
Feel free to go check out the new pages and enjoy a world of greater quality! We'll still be making formatting changes to the pages to make them look a little prettier.
