After doing field work for the past three weeks we've been able to experience first hand how church bells are musical instruments deeply connected to the European culture as well as sensitive structures. After being in the bell towers during their times of ringing we have observed the lasting conditions and dangers the continuous bell ringings have on the bell tower frame. Reduction of risk due to bells and clapper damage
Maintaining a higher musical quality produced by the bells
Reduction of damages and thus high costs for the parishes and bell foundries
Reduce the risk of people by damaged bells and clappers
Redefine the standard for the installation of bells in the future
