Ski and Snow Boarding at Snow Valley!!!

TIME/LOCATION

Sunday Feb 3rd

Meet at Snow Valley around 8:15 am. We must be fitted and ready to meet at the upper deck by 9:45am for safety briefing. After groups will be split up for their lessons starting at 10 am.

Allow 1.5 hours to drive to Snow Valley. Take 210 fwy to Hwy 330 to Hwy 18 just past Running Springs

MERIT BADGE

Scouts wanting to earn the Snow Sports merit badge need to complete the program at Snow Valley and complete the attached merit badge worksheet. The worksheets can be completed anytime after Snow Valley.

The worksheet seems to have a lot of pages but you only need to complete question #4 and relevant portions of #5 (you can skip the rest). For question #5 complete either the skiing or snowboarding section - not both. #5 asks to demonstrate various things, you can ignore those portions of the worksheet that ask for a demonstration since will you do that on Sunday. All the answers are available through the link below.

You can give me your completed worksheet anytime after Snow Valley (do NOT need to complete before Sunday) and then I will sign you off on the merit badge. Nice to get it done in Feb so you can get you badge at the March Court of Honor.
