ABC Bike Ride - Saturday Sept 21

Time: Arrive by 6:55 am

Meeting Place: Bosque Del Rio Hondo (Whittier Narrows)

Distance: Everyone will start at Bosque Del Rio Hondo at 6:55 am. Riders have choice of riding 17, 27 or 50 miles. Those riding 17 or 27 miles must arrange transportation to be picked up at either El Dorado Park or Shoreline Aquatic Park (see attached maps). Drivers should make sure to arrive on time to avoid delaying the entire group.

Difficulty: Moderate. The ride is on a bike path and generally flat, but will maintain a brisk pace.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Helmet (mandatory)

  2. Spare inner tube appropriate to bike size

  3. Tools to remove bike wheel if you do not have a quick release

  4. Adults - Pump or CO2 canister to inflate tire

  5. Water (at least 32 oz)

  6. Brings healthy snacks. You need energy for the longer rides. No formal lunch stops

  7. Desire for adventure and fun!!!!

NO small single speed BMK type bikes allowed on this ride.
