Holly Jolly Christmas Ptu

For this tutorial i used the art of Toosh Toosh.

I used a sweet kit from Kai Kreations

Filters-dsb flux-bright noise & Eye Candy nature-snow drift.

Open a new image 700x700-you can resize later-

Flood fill white & then add a paper of choice from the kit as a new layer.

Add your mask-layers.new mask layer>from image>scroll to mask & hit ok.

Merge group.

I duplicated the mask & re-coloured it a different colour 

using the change to `target` brush in psp.

Choose a nice preset shape that comes with psp,i chose the gift shape.

Make sure you close off the foreground in your colour pallete

 & chooose a colour for the fill.

Draw out a large shape with a width of 10,then objects>align>centre in canvas

then convert to a raster layer.

Add some glitter using dsb flux bright noise intensity set to 20.

Duplicate and change the colour of the duplicate to red.

Use your lasso tool with feather set to 15 & select the top half of the duplicate.

Hit delete on your keyboard several times

 until you can see the green colour at the top.

You can use my tag for guidance how it should look.

Open the long red rectangle frame from the kit,resize by 80%

& rotate 90% to the right.

Add a drop shadow & sharpen.

With your magic wand tool,click inside the frame.

Selections >modify>expand by 5.

Open a paper of choice from the kit-i used paper 2- paste as a new layer.

Selections>invert>edit>cut & deselect.

Drag the paper under the frame layer.

Apply eye candy nature-snow drift.

Play around with the settings until you find one you like.

Open element 36-the pile of snow,resize & place in your frame.

If it`s too long or short,use your deform tool to stretch it wider or shorter.

Drag below the frame.

Open & resize one of the snowmen & place inside the frame.Move to the right.

Open element 16-the white tree-& place to the right of the frame.

Open element 27-the cloud-resize & place along the top of the frame.

Now add your tube & place in front of the frame.

Open element 12-the snow-& place along the bottom of your tube.

Duplicate several times so you have snow 

all the way across the length of your frame.

Open the wordart & place along the snow.

Now use elements from the kit to decorate your tag.

You can use my tag for guidance or go your own way.

When you are happy with your tag add your name & position inside the frame.

Delete the white background layer & merge all layers.

Trsize to your lking & add your credits.

That`s it you are done!
