Cosmic Cowgirl Ftu

For this tutorial im using the  art of Greg Andrews

Font for wordart is Alien Encounters and Pointedly Mad 

Filters Used-

Filters Unlimited 2-color boost

Alien Skin-Impact-gradient glow.

Open the template in psp and resize canvas up to 700x700 pixels-You can resize later-

Click on the back layer,and re-flood fill with white.

Add a new layer and paste a paper of choice or

flood fill with a  colour from your tube,and then add your mask.

Layers>new mask layer>from image>find mask and hit ok.

Merge group.

Click on the middle mat layer with your magic wand and

 paste the sun element from the kit as a new layer.

Resize by 70% and x out the original layer.

Click on the middle frame layer with your magic wand and add a new layer.

Flood fill with a colour/gradient of choice.

Add any texture effects you like and add a drop shadow-i use 2,2 50 5.

X out the original layer.

Open the starframe,with your magic wand click on one of the blue stars.

Hold down the shift key on your keyboard and click on the rest of the blue stars.

Adjust>color balance>manual color correction,and change to black

or a colour from your tube.

Repeat the above steps with the large stars.

This time i changed my colour to orange.

Add a drop shadow.

Paste your tube as a new layer and place at the bottom of the templates.

Click on the trio top frame layer with your magic wand and add a new layer.

Flood fill with a colour/gradient of choice.

Apply Filters Unlimited/gradients/linear waves default settings.

Add a gradient glow using eye candy impact or one of choice.

Add a drop shadow and x out the original layer.

With your magic wand click inside one of the trio frames,

and add a paper/element of choice.

I used the reflective moon  and made a toxic symbol for the top one.

Deselect.

Click on the top left box layer with your magic wand a paste a paper of choice 

as a new layer-i used paper 4-Selections.invert>edit>cut and deselect.

X out the original template layer.

Repeat with the bottom right box.

Open saturn png.Colourize using the manual color correction tool.

Adjust>color balance>manual color correction,and change to a colour that matches your tube.

Then add a texture-i used Filters Unlimited 2.0

>paper textures>fibrous paper,course default settings.

Add a drop shadow .

Resize by 50% and place onto your canvas,then sharpen.

For the wordart ,i used Alien Encounters font for the Cosmic,

Stroke #B82222 fill #E59B2B Create as vector checked.

Write your wordart then stretch the nodes so it`s long enough for your tube to sit on.

Convert to raster layer,and add a gradient glow and drop shadow.

For the small `Cosmic Cowboy` i used Pointedly Mad font same colours

and added a gradient glow and drop shadow.

Add your name using a font or alpha.

Now add anything else you like from the kit or add some

 shapes/stars with your preset shapes tool.

When you are happy with your tag,delete the white background,

merge all layers and resize to your liking.

Add your credits and that`s it you are done!
