Behr hails from the Imperial city of Grevinia. He fought ten years at the side of his Imperial brothers and sisters, until one day he turned on them in a fit of rage. While the Imperial stories of that day vary, Behr's is different and tells the truth of it: his unit butchered and slaughtered and took delight in it. The blood they spilled was that of innocents, and he could not stomach this affront to justice. Somewhere inside him, a darkness took hold of that judicial fury, and granted him power that fighting alongside the Empire never did. The Farenian lives lost that day were repaid in kind, but he did not stop there.
After he left the Empire, Behr traveled further south into Faren and surrendered himself to Trynam, the King of Faren. Trynam, never one to give up when he sees not only good, but value, in a soldier, made Behr a Farenian, affording him all the rights of citizenry. In the decade and a half since, he has served at Trynam's side both in battle and in counsel. When other Imperials have defected, Behr has been there, aiding them in dealing with the change, and at Trynam's behest, evaluating them for possible spies.
