Corvallex

Corvallex rules the Black City, and is the Avar of Death. He is also known for the creation of the Realm of the Dead, Vallene's afterlife. It is unknown what his ultimate goals are, and whether they conflict with the Empire's plans. For some time, there has been an uneasy peace between the two, though no formal declarations have been made. Corvallex tends to use his power to corrupt the living and dead alike.

Corvallex created the undead monstrosity that took over the Toltos, Spear of the Sea, which menaced The Great Pass until its recent destruction at the hands of the Marauder's men and the Burritt family.

The Black City roils with dark magic day in and day out. The loss of the Toltos has angered Corvallex, though he knows not who is responsible. Aware of Velleretrix’s death and the power vacuum left after, he is rallying a force of his own, intent upon laying siege to Olin and claiming the Great Pass for himself.
