Blood Wastes, The

The Blood Wastes are a barren region visited by frequent harsh storms and ruled by vicious beasts that have evolved in a land broken during the last battle between I'noc and Rannoc.

In parts of the Blood Wastes, geysers and other natural phenomena have mixed with the Godsblood that rained down during that last battle. These parts of the wastes gave rise to the Godtouched, humans who are mutated by living in close proximity to the Godsblood-filled air. They are usually marked by physical deformations and growths, and strange abilities. Wizards in Najra have yet to determine how these abilities relate to traditional concepts of arcane magic.
